sKiYYa and the Dream Machine
sKiYYa and her band of misfits are building the Dream Machine, a portal into another dimension, a world full of bizarre characters, a journey through nightmares and day dreams. Mad scientists, adventurers and dreamers, sKiYYa (rap/ keyboard), her sister Miana Aenea (vocals/saxophone), yems (drums), and Paul Sonn (bass), are four individuals who have banded up to explore the unknown terrain of the subconscious mind.

Together sKiYYa and the Dream Machine venture to create music which is honest, hopeful and unsettling. Odd melodies, harmonious yet eerie passages, and chaotic improvisations take the listener on a journey through an immersive sonic experience, as socially conscious and introspective lyrics remain thought provoking, throughout their most absurd moments.
Starting off with a debut concert at Kultursommer Wien in 2024, sKiYYa and the Dream Machine have since performed their music across Vienna. An appearance on Radio Orange’s Open Phil Broadcast subsequently resulted in their first release, Scream (Live). Scream tries to make sense of deeply personal and intimate themes, while untangling a knot of stored up pain.
